Occasionally when you replace the depleted ink cartridge in your Samsung SF-555P, the machine may not recognize the new cartridge and either display a message that the cartridge is empty or not installed. In this situation, you must reset the SF-555P so that it will recognize the full cartridge.
Instructions
1. Remove the new ink cartridge from the fax machine.
2. Unplug the fax machine's power cord from the outlet. Leave the cord unplugged for at least five seconds to allow the machine to fully power down.
3. Plug the power cord back into the outlet.
4. Turn on the fax machine using the power button.
5. Replace the ink cartridge in the fax machine. Make sure it is fully seated in its slot.
