things you need: Press, Screwdriver, Toner Refill Kit (includes Smart chip), Super glue
1 Place old newspaper on your work surface to prevent the spread of the toner on the surface.
2 Pry the black access panel on the left side toner cartridge with a screwdriver. The plastic cover has a small tab that holds the lid in place. As you lift the cover, small cracks tab to allow the cap to come.
3 Pry the toner filler cap hole was filled with a flathead screwdriver. Hold the toner cartridge upright so old toner spill on you while you remove the lid.
4 Turn the cartridge down and pour the remainder of the toner used in the paper. You can not mix brands or colors of toner.
5 Place the funnel into the bottle cap and pour filling the whole bottle of toner into the fill hole.
6 Push the toner filler cap in the filler hole.
7 Place the access panel on the cartridge. From the tab breaks when you remove it, place a small drop of glue on the edge of the access panel to avoid dropping the cartridge.
8 Remove the green smart chip from the bottom edge of the cartridge with a flathead screwdriver, put the chip back into the bottom and secure with the screwdriver. The smart chip calculates when out of toner.
